The Corner House Hotel is a well-established, family-run hotel situated in the centre of the small Scottish town of Annan. The hotel is a traditional sandstone building with all the modern amenities our guests would require. **Please be aware that there are no lifts due to the age of our building and that it is classed as a B-listed building. All of our rooms are on the first and second floor, there are no rooms available on the ground floor** **This hotel is located in the heart of the town centre, please expect SOME NOISE especially at the weekends. Complimentary ear plugs available for those of us who sleep light** Located just off the M74, our location is ideal for visitors to Dumfries and Galloway, the Central Belt (Glasgow and Edinburgh), Gretna Green and beautiful Solway Coast. We are a popular destination for a number of outdoor activities such as cycling, fishing, walking and golfing. We have a number of popular attractions nearby, including The Devil’s Porridge Museum, Annan’s New Whisky Distillery, 7 Stanes Mountain Biking Trails, Drummuir Farm Ice Cream Parlour and many more. With 18 en-suite Bedrooms all with flat screen TV’s, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers and free toiletries. Guests and visitors have access to our seamless High Speed WiFi in all areas of the hotel. Our Café, Lounge Bar, which is open to non residents, can offer you a light lunch menu. Our menu includes a choice of homemade soups, sandwiches, homemade scones and fresh ground coffee. Also we have our free private on-site car park with 24 hours CCTV system, which can hold up to 40 vehicles. The Corner House has spacious ground floor function rooms which are idea for conferences, business meetings, weddings, birthday parties and many other functions. Scottish/English Border - Road: Annan is located on the Solway Coast, a few miles away from the Scottish/English border. To reach the town, follow the A75 Gretna-Stranraer road (junction 22 of the M6/M74 to Glasgow) and follow signs for Annan – it is about seven miles from Gretna, or 15 miles from Dumfries to the town. Annan Station - Train: If you are travelling to us by train, Annan train station is only 0.3 miles from the hotel. It is roughly a 6 minute walk. When coming out the main exit from the station, walk straight down the road in front of you, this is bank street. Keep following this road for 5 minutes and then follow the road round to the left. This will bring you on to the main high street. The hotel will be right in front of you.
