Information on the Surrone House
Surrone House, a former farmhouse, has been in the same family for the past 40 years. The house has been carefully converted to provide six comfortably appointed rooms, all with en suite facilities, flat screen TV with Freeview, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and central heating. We are situated in the heart of Gretna, yards from the Registration Office and Anvil Hall, less than five minutes' walk to Gretna Gateway Outlet Village and a mile from the world famous Blacksmith's Shop in Gretna Green. Our beautifully maintained and non-smoking bed and breakfast makes for an ideal place to stay whilst in this part of Scotland. Each morning, fully cooked Scottish breakfast is served. The cosy residents lounge provides space to meet fellow guests whilst the extensive and cared for garden is a place to wander. For added convenience, there is plenty of free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi throughout the house is also provided. At Surrone House, we welcome everyone, hospitality is our specialty, whether you are coming for a wedding or travelling on holiday. Walkers and cyclists are all very welcome and we provide secure storage for bicycles and drying facilities, as well as a garage where motorcycles can be parked. Gretna Green station is only a 15-minute walk from the guest house.
